This Sat I, Ron Lahody, will be demoing: Brats, BBQ rib, and our own cooked brisket. I think the cooked brisket is just the best. I put a rub on them and then slow cook till done. Cost is $11.49. I use a whole – untrimmed brisket. This item has many uses. As deli meat, heat and served as roast beef, and as an appetizer. As an appetizer – take a piece of leaf lettuce – spread honey mustard on it – then put a few, heated slices of brisket on it – roll up and serve. Really good stuff.

Father’s Day is coming up – will have lots of what Dad’s want for their special day. Mainly STEAKS. On special – T-bones, tomahawks, and sirloin. I will be open the usual hours. 10 to 7 daily and 11 to 5 on Sun.

This Friday I have ordered more wild caught salmon. Call your order in.

Chef Matt invented a new brat – Aloha Brat. This is made with cured ham, BBQ sauce, and crushed pineapple. This is by far my favorite brat. Tuesday he will be fiddling with making a sriracha burger. I just wish I had another 10′ service meat case!

Don’t forget – I now carry elk patties and elk NY strip. Just ask. Plus – I have grass fed beef patties and hot dogs.

When I first opened – I did not think much about inventory other than meat products. Was I surprised – with groceries, eggs, oils/vinegar, all the jerky/summer sausage, and all the produce. Did you know we sell a bushel of jumbo Idaho spuds per day? And – then there is all the salads. And, Vivian’s ham salad is super popular!

Will end for now because I need to wash the cooler/dock floors.
